Luvell L. Glanton, Jr., M.D., anesthesia and pain management specialist with Hannibal Regional Medical Group, will begin seeing patients at Hannibal Regional Hospital’s Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine clinic in Bowling Green.
Dr. Glanton earned his undergraduate degree from Lipscomb University, Nashville, Tennessee and his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center, Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Glanton then completed a residency in anesthesia at the State University of New York – Buffalo and a Pain Management Fellowship at the Weill Cornell Medical Center, New York City. A member of the American Society of Anesthesiology and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Management, Dr. Glanton was recognized as the Outstanding Resident of the Year for two years and was appointed Chief Fellow during his pain management fellowship.
As a practitioner of anesthesia and pain management services, Dr. Glanton devotes his energies to minimizing patient pain during and following surgical and other invasive procedures. Additionally, he utilizes a multi-modality approach to ensure the comprehensive evaluation and treatment of patients with both acute and chronic pain.
